Isothiazolinone plays a bactericidal effect by breaking the bond between bacteria and algae proteins, resulting in the death of microbial cells, making effective biocide effect. The stability of Kathon preservative is good. The suitable temperature for storage is between 0-25 degrees at room temperature. The higher temperature will cause activity of Isothiazolinone decrease.

CMIT MIT has good effect to kill the bacteria and algae in indtry water. It's effective at very low concentrations in controlling both the planktonic and surface growth of bacteria, fungi and algae and have been produced specifically for water treatment and paper mill applications.

This fungicide is the formula product of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one & Bronopol. Free of formaldehyde. The suitable pH value is 2.0-9.0.The recommended dosage is 50-200 ppm.
