World-recognized water treatment bactericide- Isothiazolinone

26-10-2020

Chemical Name: Chloromethylisothiazolinone/ Methylisothiazolinone

For short named: CMIT/MIT

The main purity: 14%, 10%, 2.5%, 1.5%...

Isothiazolinone is mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT). Isothiazolinone kill bacteria by breaking the bonds between bacteria and algae proteins. After isothiazolinone comes into contact with microorganisms, it can quickly and irreversibly inhibit their growth, leading to the death of microbial cells, so it has a strong inhibitory and killing effect on common bacteria, fungi, and algae.

Features:

1. Efficient, broad-spectrum, can kill and inhibit various microorganisms, molds and algae;

2. It has a wide application range, and the PH value of 2~9 has no influence on the sterilization effect;

3. Good compatibility, can be widely compatible with various anionic, cationic and nonionic additives, and can also be used in compatibility with other fungicides;

4. Low concentration, long duration of drug effect, no foam;

5. It can effectively prevent the formation of slime;

6. It is convenient and safe to use and can be added directly;

7. It is environmentally friendly and can be degraded into non-toxic substances by itself, and long-term use will not cause environmental harmful.

It is widely used in water treatment, such as petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, central air conditioning, industrial circulating cooling water for sterilization and algae, effectively inhibiting the reproduction and growth of microorganisms. It can also be used in coatings, water-based polymers, metal cutting fluids, adhesives, inks, dyes, paraffin liquids, etc.
