And the suitable pH value is 2.0-9.0, and the stability is poor in alkaline media with pH>9.0. when added in amounts in the range of 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of cement, inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria.

Sodium Pyrithione is the sodium salt form of pyrithione, a fungistatic and antimicrobial derivative of aspergillic acid. It's currently the most effective water-soluble industrial mildew preservative.

The easiest way to adding preservatives into paints is physical mixture. The mildew fungicide should be added to the dispersion as early as possible and dispersed as evenly as possible.
