Our factory produces the microbial control chemicals Benzisothiazolinone 20% solution, In Short name is BIT 20% biocide. The aqueous dipropylene glycol solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, is a broad spectrum biocide. It is soluble in water at use dilutions, which is with same effect as Lonza’s Proxel GXL.

Advantage of BIT 20% biocide
1) BIT 20% biocide has broad spectral activity in high pH systems, suitable for use in the medium of the pH value in the range of 4.0-12;
2) Excellent inactivity, with the active ingredient able to withstand a high temperature of 150℃; Its high temperature resistance is better than other sterilization products.
3) Good compatibility with all kinds of emulsifiers, surfactants and other agents; miscible in the solutions of alcohol and water at any ratio.
4) Easy to handle, due to its liquid form and good compatibility in most aqueous formulations. The active ingredient is non-volatile and has a relatively high thermal stability, allowing it to be incorporated into liquids that are still hot.
5) Low toxicity; contain no heavy metals and halogen compounds; inactive to amines; free of formaldehyde;
The biocide Benzisothiazolinone 20% solution is widely used in latex products, water-soluble resins, coatings, acrylic polymers, polyurethane products, inks, leather, lubricants and other high pH products.
