Cutting fluid plays the role of lubrication, rust prevention, cleaning and cooling in the metal cutting process. The environment in which the cutting fluid is used is generally an open system, and it is always faced with the attack of microorganisms (mainly bacteria and molds) in the environment during use. 

The chemical method of adding bactericide to the cutting fluid to inhibit the reproduction of microorganisms is simple and efficient. Cutting fluid fungicides should have broad spectrum, stability and low toxicity. The following fungicides are commonly used in cutting fluids. Triazine BK; MBM; IPBC; CIT MIT; IPBC.

IPBC is a fungicidal compound, added to the pigment, which can prevent the color change due to the growth of mold during storage, and improve the shelf life of the pigment. It can be added to the paint for long-term storage, or it can fully and effectively prevent aging and discoloration caused by fungal infection on the coated surface, so as to maintain a long-term decorative effect. Added in water and oil, it can avoid the color of water and oil due to the action of mold. IPBC can also be used to treat wood to prevent mildew. () BK Triazine fungicide  

Bactericide BK is a water-based, low-toxicity fungicide developed for water-based products against bacteria and fungi in humid environments, especially in high temperature environments. Its chemical structure is 1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-hexahydro-triazine.

Bactericide BK is a bactericide widely used in metalworking fluids. Can be used in concentrates or for on-site disposal. The dosage in the concentrated solution is 2-3%; the dosage for on-site sterilization is: 0.05-0.15%

 

() MBM Fungicide

Bactericide MBM is a new generation of broad-spectrum low-toxicity bactericide specially developed for water-based metalworking fluids. Its chemical structure is a morpholine derivative. This product fully meets the requirements of water-based metalworking fluids: it has low skin irritation, mild smell, and low toxicity (its formaldehyde release is only 1/3 of BK, and the concentration in the stock solution is added to 5% without hurting hands), and the formula is compatible Strong, long-lasting bactericidal.
