BIT20 Bactericide, Industrial Bactericide 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one
BIT20 is a low-toxicity, broad-spectrum, formaldehyde-free bactericide used to protect water-based industrial products from bacterial, yeast, and fungal contamination. BIT20 is stable under alkaline conditions and can be used for corrosion protection in oil-in-water emulsions and metalworking fluids. BIT20 is a solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one.

Physicochemical Properties: Boiling point approx. 233°C, flash point not lower than 100°C, slightly characteristic odor, vapor pressure 0.1 mbar at 32 ºC; density approx. 1.15 g/cm³, viscosity approx. 16 mPa·s at 25°C at 25 ºC; Skin irritation (rabbit): severe irritation; Eye irritation (rabbit): corrosive, corneal burn; skin contact may cause allergies.

The BIT-20 Biocide is a highly effective, broad-spectrum, and stable industrial bactericide and preservative. It can be widely used in various water-based polymer emulsions, adhesives, coatings, synthetic fiber oils, papermaking, metal cutting fluids, calendering fluids, grinding fluids, industrial circulating water, oil extraction, and leather industries for bactericidal, preservative, and algae-preservative purposes.
Instructions for Use:
To prevent bacterial and fungal contamination, the concentration range for BIT20 bactericide in final applications is 0.04-0.18%; in metalworking fluid concentrates, it is 0.8-3.6%.

BIT20 bactericide is shipped in 25-liter or 200-liter plastic drums, with a net weight of 25 kg or 200 kg.
