General:
DMH is White crystal powder, with high purity 99% min. Dissoluble in water, ethanol, and ethyl ether. Slightly dissolve in acetone, but does not dissolve in fatty hydrocarbon and trichlene. The 5,5-dimethyl hydantoin has good thermal stability, high heat resistance, its insulation potting compound can be used more than 5000 h under 180 ℃, 130 ℃ for 40 years service life. Strong polarity, low viscosity, so glass fiber, carbon fiber and a variety of fillers have good wetting capacity and adhesion, without reducing the process of the premise of a large number of fillers, so that linear expansion coefficient and cost reduction.
Application: DMDMH Intermediates, Key intermediate for making DMDMH, BCDMH, DBDMH.
Usage: Synthesis, preparation of water-soluble polymers. It mainly used for synthesizing halogenated hydantoin and DMDM hydantoin, and it also can be used for compounding hydantoin epoxy resin and hydantoin formaldehyde resign, in manufacturing of macromolecule materials and aminophenol, in compounding of Hydantoin epoxy resin and hydantoin formaldehyde resign. Also cyanide-free silver plating.
Transportation: Carefully handling, prevent from solarization and rain drenches. It can be transport as common chemicals but cannot be mixed shipped with other toxic or harmful substance.
