It is a dual active broad-spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

Properties:
Composition: An aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT).
Boiling point: 100℃
Flash point: Boils without flashing.
Compatibility: Compatible and effective over PH range 3-10. Recommended to be used under 80℃.
Storage stability: Stable under normal conditions of storage down to 0℃. If frozen, allow to thaw and stir well before use. Active agents are heat-stable and non-volatile.

A shelf life of 1 year is expected if material is stored in sealed original packaging.
Notice:
At temperatures < -5 °C，BIT and BIT-sodium salts may crystallize. By heating up to max. 50°C and stirring, the product may be dissolved again. The quality of the product will not be impaired.
