Scavenger Water Treatment  Carbohydrazide 99%  CAS 497-18-7

Carbohydrazide is a white crystalline powder,  obtained by crystallization from aqueous ethanol. The melting point is 153~154℃, and it decomposes when melting. It is easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, insoluble in ethanol, insoluble in alcohol, ether, chloroform and benzene. This product has a wide range of uses in the industry. Carbohydrazide is a derivative of hydrazine with strong reducing properties, and reacts with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid and nitric acid to form salts. Can be used as an intermediate in the manufacture of energetic materials.

Application:

1) Anti-corrosion agent of oil refinery equipment can be used as deoxidizer of boiler water treatment agent. Carbohydrazide has low toxicity, high melting point, and deoxidation efficiency is far greater than that of currently used materials. It is an advanced material currently used for deoxidizing boiler water, and is an ideal safety and environmental protection product;

2) It can be used as an intermediate in the manufacture of energetic materials, and can also be directly used as a component of explosives and propellants. Such as a component of rocket propellants.

3) Carbohydrazide can be used as a cross-linking agent for elastic fibers in the chemical fiber industry. As chemical raw materials and chemical intermediates, it is widely used in medicine, herbicides, plant growth regulators, dyes and other industries.

4) Adding an appropriate amount of carbohydrazide to soap containing phenolic fungicide can prevent discoloration and rancidity, and can replace hydrazine hydrate and oximes. With low toxicity, high melting point and excellent deoxidation efficiency, it is an ideal product for safety and environmental protection.

5) The powdered carbohydrazide can be directly put into water, or its aqueous solution can be used. It can be used alone or in combination with redox catalysts such as hydroquinone or other quinones, as well as cobalt complexes.

The goods will be allowed to leave factory only after quality qualified. Meanwhile the sample for each lot will be kept in lab at least one year. When issues happened, we or the third authority party could reinspect. Before new customers issue order, free sample will be supplied for test.
