Mixrture biocide of Isothiazolinone and Bronopol

Our company launches isothiazolinone and bronopol (Kathon & BRONOPOL) compound fungicides, named CB-20 fungicidal preservative. It's a classic, economical, synergistic bactericidal preservative with broad-spectrum bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties (bacteria, yeasts, molds). It is specially developed for water-based products and has been used for more than ten years, with rich experience for application.

CB-20 Preservative, an aqueous solution of CMIT/MIT and Bronopol, is an efficient microbiostat preservative for aqueous compositions such as oil in water emulsions,latices,emulsion paints including varnishes,lacquers,and stains,water based adhesives,inks,casein and rosin dispersions,textile spin-finish solutions,etc.

Fast onset, 24-hour sterilization rate reaches 99.9%;

PH value is widely used and can be used from 2 to 8.5;

Broad antibacterial spectrum, effective against bacteria, mold and yeast;

Easy to use and strong compatibility with products;

Application/ Dosage

The recommended concentration is 0.05%-0.3%, depending on the applied product and its environmental conditions.

It can be miscible with any proportion of water and can be added to the system dururing any process.

Usage / Compatibility

1) It can be added at any stage of the production process, but it is recommended to add it as early as possible in the production process. And it should be noted that the temperature, Ph value and redox potential at the time of adding will not affect the stability of this product. When using this product for the first time, users are advised to experiment.

2) It couldn't be used in alkaline system, free formaldehyde will be produced in alkaline system, and the anticorrosion will fail;

3) The amount of bactericidal preservatives is adjusted according to the environment and temperature changes. When the temperature is high, the amount should be increased appropriately.

4) It will work better with our other biocide of DBNPA20.

Packaging &Storage

Packing: 25kg plastic barrel and 1000kg IBC drums.

Storage: Store in original container, avoid extreme temperatures. It is easy to frost and may not be clear when the temperature is lower than 1°C. But as soon as the temperature rises, the product will immediately return to clearness without affecting the performance. With Shelf life:12 months (20°C).

Mode of Transport 

Multiple transportation methods could be selected by customers, including Ocean Transport, Air Transport, Rail Transport and Courier Transport. Our priciple is to delivery the goods reached to customers with shortest time and ecomomic trasnport mode, safe and fast.

Quality Inspection Center

Each lot of goods will be strictly inspected, and all goods are allowed to leave factory only after quality qualified. Meanwhile the sample for each lot will be kept in lab at least one year. Before new customers issue order, free sample will be supplied for test. And we ensure the sample quality is same as bulk quality.
